GPX Waypoints from File

This feature enables you to import all Waypoints from a GPX file, and plot them on the Vector Map and the Online Map. Note that a GPX file can contain both waypoints and tracks. This command will only make use of the waypoints that it finds in the file. The total number of waypoints found will be reported on the Status Line at the bottom of the map. If more waypoints are reported than are showing on the map, it could be that their positions are beyond the bounds of the current map-view. The Online map can be zoomed and panned to see waypoints anywhere in the world.

Each Waypoint is indicated in the maps with a small marker. You can choose which marker is used, from the full set of 37, by clicking 'Help > Options' on the upper MenuBar, and then when the Option window opens, select the 'Markers' tab and choose a new value in the 'Choose Waypoint Marker-Type' control.
