Options
The County-Hunting Mapper program has a variety of options that can be adjusted, saved, or reset to default values. Some options provide the program with information to base its other calculations and actions on, whilst other options save the colors and layout to suit the requirements of the individual. To view the options, click 'Help > Options' on the upper Menu-Bar. The main program window will disappear, to be replaced by the smaller 'Options' window, with a number of tab-pages.
Looking first at the bottom of this window, we see four buttons:
1/ Save - this will save all settings in the option window, and apply them to the main program, before closing the 'Options' window and returning to the main program window.
2/ Reset - this will reset all values in the option window to the way they were when the 'Options' window was opened. You then need to click 'Save' to return to the main program window.
3/ Default - this will reset all values in the option window to the way they were when the program was first installed. You then need to click 'Save' to return to the main program window.
4/ Cancel - this will abandon any changes made in the option window, and then close the 'Options' window, and then return to the main program window.
There are many changes that can be made to the County-Hunting Mapper program. These settings are accessed using the tab-pages that are swapped by clicking on the different tabs at the top of the 'Options' window: 'User Details', 'Vector Map', 'Online Map', 'Grid Locators', 'Markers', 'Logs' and 'Program Colors'.
