Calendar

The 'Calendar' tab-page provides a facility to create, edit, and delete Calendar or Alarm Events. These are events that will action at a specified date/time, for a specified length. The event has its own name. It can run once, or repeat every time the specified date/time is reached. Some example Calendar and Alarm Events have been provided to give you an idea of how they work. You can right click an event to Delete it permanently, or select it by clicking its line, and then clearing its 'Event Enabled' checkbox.

To create a new event, click the 'Create New Calendar Event' button. A Sample Event will be added with default values which can all be set to your requirements in the 'Add/Edit Calendar/ Alarm Event' panel.

There are separate controls to select 'Month', 'Date', Hour' and 'Minute'. Each of these has an 'Ignore' setting, so if, for instance, you set the 'Month' to 'Ignore' and the 'Date' to '05', the event would start on the 5th day of every month, rather than one specific month. Likewise, you can have an event that starts every time the hour is '14' or every time the minute is '24', or a combination of both to trigger at '14:24'.

The date and time that you select applies to a specific Time Zone, as shown in the 'Time Zone' control.

AFTER EDITING THE VALUES IN THE 'Add/Edit Calendar/ Alarm Event' PANEL, DON'T FORGET TO CLICK THE 'Save Edits to Selected Calendar Event' BUTTON, OR YOUR EDITS WILL BE LOST!
