Tables

The 'Tables' tab-page holds the results of many actions that the program performs, such as searching, plotting, etc. Results are shown in a grid-layout, with a varying number of columns. There are a number of actions that you can perform:

Column widths can be resized by hovering over the border between two columns in the Header Row. When the cursor changes to a double-headed arrow, you can left click and drag the dividing line to change a column width.

You can reorder columns by left-clicking a column Header and dragging it to a new position.

You can reorder the rows by left-clicking any column header. This will reorder the whole table according to the entries in that column.

You can change the colors used for each row by clicking 'Config > Set Program Options > Colors', and changing the colors marked 'GridView'.

You can export the contents of the Tables tab-page as a delimited file. See the 'Export 'Tables' to Delimited File' help-page for more details.

Right-clicking a row in the Tables will show a Context Menu. The commands that then appear will depend on what the Tables are currently showing. Some of the commands include:

Show on Maps

Will show the row entity on the maps, if it has a valid position.

Draw Outline on Map

For rows containing polygons, such as Grid Locators, IOTA groups, or Countries, this command will draw an outline of that entity on the maps.

Copy to Clipboard

Will copy the line to the system ClipBoard, so that you can use the data in other external programs.

Open Link in Browser

When a row has a URL link in it, this command will open that link in your designated internet browser program.

Position-Referenced Browsing

This command will use the position of the entity on the row as the reference point when calculating the distance and bearing for every row returned when browsing a database table. See the Reference Positions help-page for more information.
