Auxiliary Log

The Auxiliary Log tab-page shows a stored ADIF or Cabrillo log, that can be plotted on the Vector and Online maps. It is designed to provide a method of keeping a temporary record of calls, states, and especially counties that have been contacted so far, and provides a useful visual record of your operating achievements. Once the log has been plotted, you can choose to view just a subset of QSOs sorted by band, mode, or confirmed status.

When first supplied, the Auxiliary Log contains a fictional sample-log, to show you some of the things that can be done with a saved log, but this log can easily be deleted and replaced with your own ADIF or Cabrillo log. There is a separate menu-item for loading the Auxiliary Log. QSOs can also be exported from the Auxiliary log to the Main log, but not the other way around.

You can select a line by left-clicking it. Unlike the 'Tables' page, the Auxiliary Log page allows multiple lines to be selected simultaneously. Left clicking will select one line at a time. Holding the Control-Key down whilst left clicking will add lines to the current selection. Holding the Shift-Key down whilst clicking will select all lines from the last selection to the current line.

Right-clicking a line in the Auxiliary Log shows a context-menu with various options: Show County on Maps, View Callsign Online, Copy Line to Clipboard, Edit Line, Delete Line, Delete All Selected.
