Grid Squares

The 'Grid Squares' table shows all the unique grid squares in the Main Log, sorted by band. Each square per band identifies whether it has been contacted or not, with the callsign, date, time, and confirmed-status shown in the relevant cell. The 'Grid Squares' menu-item in the Menu-Bar reveals a number of menu-subitems: Plot All Grid Squares, Plot Confirmed Grid Squares, Plot Unconfirmed Grid Squares,  and Plot Grid Squares By Band. By selecting one of these menu-subitems, you can plot all of your worked grid squares on the map, or filter by confirmed, unconfirmed, or for a specific band. This provides a handy visual record of your total grid squares worked to-date. You do not need to add to or edit the values in the Grid Squares table: they are assigned automatically when QSOs are added, edited, or removed from the Main Log.

You can count the number of times that any square has been worked by right-clicking on it: choose 'All Bands' or 'This Band' to refine the count. You can also right-click a line to 'Show This Grid Square on the Maps'. This will draw a filled box on the Online and the Overlay Maps. Right-click the box to perform a variety of Spatial Queries that will return all entities found within the bounds of that square.

Note that the Grid Squares table and plotting facilities are only available during the Trial Period, and if the programme is subsequently registered with an 'Advanced' licence. You can always upgrade a 'Standard' licence if you wish to enable Main and Auxiliary Log storage and plotting.
