Contests where you collect ITU ZONES:  IARU-HF

 

Contests where you collect CQ ZONES:  CQWW

Supported Contest-Types

 

For this program to function properly, it needs to understand the data that it is being presented with. When talking about imported logs, the program uses the 'CONTEST' tag, which is present in the header of an ADIF or Cabrillo log, to decide how to process each QSO line.

 

Whilst ADIF logs have each item of a log-line correctly placed in a specific tag, Cabrillo logs depend on correct identification of the log to know where particular types of data will be found. For instance, look at these two Cabrillo template examples:

It is only by identifying the 'CONTEST' tag that the program can identify the contest exchange-data, that will then be used to plot States, Sections, Counties, or Grid Locators.

Note that Canada RAC, NAQP-CW, NAQP-RTTY, and NAQP-SSB are not included, as I do not currently include a data-set that has all of their multipliers: all 50 US states, including Alaska and Hawaii, the District of Colombia (DC), the 13 Canadian provinces/territories (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland-Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut) and other North American entities as defined by the ARRL DXCC List.
