Register

When you first start the program, or when you click 'Help > Register' on the upper Menu-Bar, a small 'Register' window will appear. It lets you know how long the 30-day Trial Period has to run, and gives you the opportunity to either Register the program immediately, or to continue operating the program within the Trial Period, whilst the Trial Period is still valid. The title of the main program window will also inform you of the remaining days of the 30-day Trial Period. When the trial period has ended, you only get an option to register.

How to Register

Open the 'Register' window, either by starting the program or by clicking 'Help > Register' if the program is already running. The window will tell you what the current program status is, and show you a blue 'REGISTER' link. Click this to open your computer's default browser program, and be taken to a webpage where you will be able to purchase a licence to use the 'County-Hunting Mapper'. Payment is available in US dollars, and a variety of other currencies. If you have any problems with the registration process, please contact me via the website. On completion of the registration process, you will be given a password. Enter this password into the 'Password' box on the Register windows, along with the same email address that you used during the registration process. Click the rectangular 'Register Now' button at the bottom of the window, and if the details are accepted, the Register' window will disappear after a few seconds, and the program will start.

Changing your Registered Email Address

Click 'Help > Register', and the small 'Register' window will appear. If you have already registered the program, you will be given the option to change your registered email address. This is not normally necessary, but might be required if you are changing email addresses and wish to be notified of new program versions or other Ham Mapping news. To do this, click the blue 'Change Email' link, which will open your computer's default browser program, and be taken to a webpage where you will be able to enter your new email address and receive a new password. These values should be entered in the 'Email Address' and 'Password' boxes on the 'Register' page, before clicking the 'Register Now' button. Note that once changed, you old email address and password will not be valid for use any more.
