Background Details
This map, made by me, plots the South Asian weather stations present in the 'icaos.db' file, from www.websiteweather.com. I use their excellent 'Metar.pl' script to get the weather details for each location. The script retrieves encoded metar weather reports from various weather services on the internet and decodes this information into human readable weather reports. To see the latest weather report for any station, just click the callsign on the map, and a new browser page will be opened with the weather details.
